General information
This newly renovated hunting lodge in Muurikkala is ideal for travellers, hikers and cyclists. The house is well located, about 1 km from the Lappeenrannantie (road 387). The yard is accessible by car and there is parking space. The hut sleeps six people; three on a fold-out bed and three in a bunk bed. Blankets and pillows are provided, the tenant brings his own linen. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances and basic crockery. The sauna in the cottage is wood-heated. For added comfort, there is an air-source heat pump and electric heating. In the evening you can sit on the new terrace or by the fireplace under the shelter of the huge summerhouse. Firewood can be found in the fireplace. For extra sleeping space, and adventure for the kids, the lessee can even put up a tent in the courtyard. You can also come here by camper van or caravan. Book a pitch when you book your hut. There are two caravan pitches. The adaptors for the sockets are inside the hut.
Environment
The hut is surrounded by extensive forests suitable for berry picking and mushroom picking. Muurikkala is also a great place for birdwatching. Snow conditions permitting, the hut has access to the Muurikkala ski trail network. Muurikkala village also has a swimming beach and skating rink.

Keys
The keys are available in the key box on site, where you will receive a PIN code by e-mail before the start of the booking. On departure, the keys must be returned to the key box.
Final cleaning
The cottage is cleaned by the tenant. The cleaning includes taking away the rubbish, bottles and your own food or taking it to the waste disposal point. In addition, floors must be vacuumed and wiped, dishes washed and put away, and tables and surfaces wiped. The toilet needs to be cleaned (toilet and sink) and the sauna/laundry rooms cleaned (rubbish removed, floors washed). Beds must be made up and the outdoor terrace and summerhouse must be left tidy. If the cleaning has to be done by the landlord, a final cleaning fee will be charged.
However, if the final cleaning is purchased as a service, the cleaning of the cottage can be left to the cleaner. However, the final cleaning ordered does not include washing dishes, putting away dishes and goods and furniture, or taking out the rubbish. The customer must also take away empty bottles, cans and cutlery.

During the reservation period, there may be occasional activity in the meat processing rooms in the wing of the building.
