Day 2: Salpa Line Museum - Hotel Salpalinja Hovi, approx. 71 km
The first 45 km of the stage are on dirt roads and the remaining 26 km are on paved cycle paths. There are several places to visit along the route. A special feature is the accommodation corral attached to the Salpa Hotel in Jurvala, which cyclists can rent for accommodation. The cage can accommodate a group of 20 people. Immediately after the Salpa Hotel, the route includes the multi-faceted Salpa station in Askola and the house of Finland's first president, P.E. Svinhuvud, which is now a museum. There is also the cosy Café Ellen. The stage ends at the Salpalinja Hovi in Lappeenranta region.
